  • To check if our elastic bracelets will fit you, please measure your wrist with either (1) a string and a ruler OR (2) a measuring tape. Make sure that the string or measuring tape is not too loose or too tight on your wrist. Be sure to measure the area of your wrist where you wish the bracelet to lay. If the measurement is between 6" to 7.5", the elastic bracelet will fit well!

PLEASE NOTE: To prolong the life of your bracelet, we recommend that you do not swim, shower, or bathe with your bracelet on. Exposure to water can weaken the band and knots. We also recommend taking your bracelet off before going to sleep and not stretching or playing with your bracelet to limit the chances of it getting caught on something and snapping the band.

Geology & Composition: Indigo Gabbro is not a single mineral but a rock, and that is exactly what makes it so visually complex. Gabbro is a coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock, the slow-cooled cousin of basalt. Where basalt erupts and chills quickly at the surface, gabbro forms deep in the crust, where magma cools over long stretches of time and its minerals have room to grow into visible, interlocking crystals. It is one of the primary building blocks of the oceanic crust, which means the beads on your wrist are made of the same material that forms the floor of the sea. The pale, cloudy patches you see are plagioclase feldspar, the deep blacks and charcoals are pyroxene and magnetite, and the smoky violet tones come from a mix of biotite mica and iron-rich minerals threaded through the matrix. No two beads carry the same pattern, because no two pockets of cooling magma crystallize in quite the same way. Its overall hardness sits around 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, depending on which minerals dominate a given bead, and it takes a beautiful semi-glassy polish.

One point worth knowing: Mystic Merlinite is a trade name for Indigo Gabbro and is a different stone entirely from true Merlinite, which is a black and white dendritic agate.
