    • To check if our elastic bracelets will fit you, please measure your wrist with either (1) a string and a ruler OR (2) a measuring tape. Make sure that the string or measuring tape is not too loose or too tight on your wrist. Be sure to measure the area of your wrist where you wish the bracelet to lay. If the measurement is between 6" to 7.5", the elastic bracelet will fit well!
  • Bead Size (Approximate): 6mm Beads
  • Type: Elastic Bracelet
  • Bead Shape: Round
  • Surface: Polished
  • Mohs Hardness: 6 to 6.5

PLEASE NOTE: To prolong the life of your bracelet, we recommend that you do not swim, shower, or bathe with your bracelet on. Exposure to water can weaken the band and knots. We also recommend taking your bracelet off before going to sleep and not stretching or playing with your bracelet to limit the chances of it getting caught on something and snapping the band.

Geology & Composition: Indigo Gabbro is not a single mineral but a rock, and that is exactly what makes it so visually complex. Gabbro is a coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock, the slow-cooled cousin of basalt. Where basalt erupts and chills quickly at the surface, gabbro forms deep in the crust, where magma cools over long stretches of time and its minerals have room to grow into visible, interlocking crystals. It is one of the primary building blocks of the oceanic crust, which means the beads on your wrist are made of the same material that forms the floor of the sea. The pale, cloudy patches you see are plagioclase feldspar, the deep blacks and charcoals are pyroxene and magnetite, and the smoky violet tones come from a mix of biotite mica and iron-rich minerals threaded through the matrix. No two beads carry the same pattern, because no two pockets of cooling magma crystallize in quite the same way. Its overall hardness sits around 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, depending on which minerals dominate a given bead, and it takes a beautiful semi-glassy polish.

One point worth knowing: Mystic Merlinite is a trade name for Indigo Gabbro and is a different stone entirely from true Merlinite, which is a black and white dendritic agate.

Metaphysical Properties of Indigo Gabbro: Indigo Gabbro, also known as Mystic Merlinite, earned its mystical nickname honestly. It is an intensely spiritual stone, and its particular gift is bridging the spiritual world with life here on Earth. Rather than pulling you up and out of your body the way some high-vibration stones do, Indigo Gabbro anchors you as it opens you, drawing on both the Fire and Earth elements to pair insight with real stability. It awakens an understanding of your spiritual gifts and intuitive abilities, strengthens your connection to your higher self and inner knowing, and supports clearer spiritual communication.

This is also a stone that asks something of you. Indigo Gabbro is deeply associated with shadow work, illuminating both the light and dark aspects of the self and revealing the parts of yourself you might be trying to avoid. It does not leave you there, though. It encourages deep self-reflection so you can recognize the patterns ready to be released, and it lends courage and understanding as you move through them. Many people reach for it during major life transitions, when they need to dissolve energetic blockages and let a new chapter take shape. It is a natural fit for meditation and for reflecting honestly on where you have been and where you are going.

About the Third Eye Chakra: The Third Eye Chakra, also known as the Ajna or Brow Chakra, is located on the forehead between the eyebrows. It is associated with wisdom, insight, and spiritual perception, taking sight beyond what our physical eyes can do and connecting us to higher metaphysical paths. When the Third Eye is clouded, you may second-guess your gut, feel disconnected from your inner voice, or struggle to see a situation clearly. The awakening energy of Indigo Gabbro helps clear that fog, allowing you to see yourself and others honestly and to trust the quiet knowing that arrives before the reasoning does.

About the Root Chakra: The Root Chakra, also known as the Muladhara or Base Chakra, sits at the base of the spine and forms the foundation of both body and spirit. It holds your basic life force, and when it is balanced it grounds you and provides a steady sense of safety and security. This is what makes Indigo Gabbro such an unusual stone: it works the Third Eye and the Root at the same time, so spiritual expansion never comes at the cost of your footing. Rooted in the Element of Earth, a balanced Root Chakra steadies the other chakras and lets you feel genuinely comfortable in your body and your surroundings, which is exactly the stability that meaningful inner work requires.

How to Wear It: Indigo Gabbro is traditionally worn on the left wrist (non-dominant). In crystal practice, the left side is your receiving side, drawing energy inward, while the right side projects energy outward. Since this stone's work is about receiving insight, opening intuition, and letting hidden truths surface, the left wrist supports that inward listening. It is a natural choice for meditation, journaling, dream work, and any practice where you are trying to hear yourself more clearly.

Move it to your right wrist (dominate) when you need to act on what you have learned. If you are stepping into a life transition, having a conversation you have been avoiding, or putting a new understanding of yourself into practice, the right wrist carries that Root Chakra steadiness outward with you.

One practical tip, whichever side you choose. Wearing your bracelet on your non-dominant wrist means less daily flexing, catching, and pulling, which helps the elastic band and knots last much longer.
