Black Sage is a great alternative to a White Sage, which is commonly known to be unethically and/or illegally harvested and sourced.
Black Sage is used to encourage dreams and visions. Because of this, Black Sage is often used for astral travel, shamanic journeying, and for protection during such excursions.
When burning Black Sage Stick before bedtime, it can aid in restful sleep and pleasant dreams. Black Sage won’t cause you to “trip” or wildly hallucinate. At most, it may intensify your efforts at visualization and vivify your dreams.
How to use:
- Light the wand from the top end and place the burning wand on a safe surface.
- Keep out of reach of children, animals and flammable material.
- Burn your Sage stick and let the smoke permeate and cleanse.
- While you are cleansing your room or your jewelry, make sure that you keep a strong and focused intention in mind.
- Waft the sage smoke so that the smoke cleanses the entire room.
- Once done, put out the fire against a fire-safe bowl or abalone shell, and store away for later use.
**Please make sure that the cleansing stick is COMPLETELY out before leaving the area unattended**
