Atlantisite Elastic Bracelet (Stichtite and Serpentine) - 8mm
Wear something genuinely rare with our Atlantisite Elastic Bracelet, a Tasmanian stone where vivid magenta-purple Stichtite blooms through soft olive and khaki green Serpentine. The purple runs in veins, webs, and patches across every bead, sometimes flooding a whole stone and sometimes tracing the finest threads, so each bracelet is entirely its own. Named for the lost city of Atlantis and found in commercial quantity in just one place on earth, Atlantisite is carried for healing, kundalini awakening, and positivity. It is known for calming chaotic energy and bringing genuine emotional stability, and it is said to help you tap into ancient wisdom. The green Serpentine grounds it in the Heart Chakra while the purple Stichtite reaches toward the Crown, which is exactly the pairing that gives this stone its reputation for healing that moves through the whole body rather than settling in one place. If you are drawn to high-vibration stones with a deep sense of history, this 8mm bracelet is a striking and beautiful choice.

PLEASE NOTE: To prolong the life of your bracelet, we recommend that you do not swim, shower, or bathe with your bracelet on. Exposure to water can weaken the band and knots. We also recommend taking your bracelet off before going to sleep and not stretching or playing with your bracelet to limit the chances of it getting caught on something and snapping the band.
A NOTE ON THIS PARTICULAR STONE: Atlantisite is one of the softest stones we work with. The purple Stichtite sits between 1.5 and 2 on the Mohs scale, soft enough to be marked by a fingernail, and the green Serpentine is only slightly harder. Please keep this bracelet away from water, lotions, perfumes, and household cleaners, and store it apart from harder jewelry that could scratch it. Cleanse it energetically with smoke, sound, or moonlight rather than water. We recommend this as an intentional wear piece for meditation and quieter days rather than an everyday workhorse. Treated gently, its color and polish will stay beautiful for years.
Geology & Composition: Atlantisite is not one mineral but two grown together, and both halves are worth knowing. The green is Serpentine, a magnesium silicate that forms when seawater works its way into the rocks of the ocean floor and chemically transforms them over immense stretches of time. Running through it in veins and pockets is Stichtite, a rare magnesium chromium carbonate whose extraordinary magenta-to-violet color comes from chromium. Stichtite forms as a secondary mineral, crystallizing when chromium-bearing rock alters in the presence of the same fluids that created the serpentine, which is why the two are so often found in each other's company. The trade name Atlantisite was coined for the material from Stichtite Hill near Zeehan in western Tasmania, Australia, which remains the principal commercial source and the reason you will also hear it called Tasmanite. Stichtite itself was first described there in 1910 and named for Robert Carl Sticht, a metallurgist who managed the Mount Lyell mine. Both minerals are notably soft, with stichtite at just 1.5 to 2 on the Mohs scale and serpentine between 2.5 and 4, which is why Atlantisite is always polished into cabochons and beads rather than faceted, and why it takes a soft waxy luster rather than a glassy shine.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
- Intentions: Healing, Kundalini, Positivity
- Chakra: Heart, Crown
- Zodiac: Virgo, Libra
- Elements: Earth
Metaphysical Properties of Atlantisite: Atlantisite is a combination of Stichtite and Serpentine that is best known for calming chaotic energy in the aura. It is carried by people who feel scattered or pulled in too many directions, and its reputation is for bringing genuine emotional stability rather than simply quieting things temporarily. It is also considered a stone of strength. Atlantisite is said to make you stronger than you have ever been, and it is associated with tapping into ancient wisdom, which suits a stone named for a legendary lost civilization. Under the Earth element, it inspires harmony and stability in your life, giving that strength something solid to stand on.
Atlantisite is regarded as a high vibration stone that cleanses energy blockages from all of the Chakras, and it is especially connected to the Heart, where it stabilizes both the emotions and the mind. It is also tied to kundalini energy, the life force traditionally described as rising from the base of the spine, and the Stichtite within it is the reason. Stichtite has a long association with awakening that current and carrying it upward, which is what gives this stone its reputation for healing that moves through the whole system rather than settling in one place.
About the Heart Chakra: The Heart Chakra, also known as the Anahata, is located in the center of the chest. It is the chakra most in tune with your emotions, especially love. When the Heart Chakra is aligned, it helps to open you to new experiences and new relationships of all kinds. It also helps to ease past hurts, and helps you learn and grow from negative experiences. The Heart Chakra is the chakra of compassion, allowing you to forgive and be forgiven. It helps bring love to you, and helps you to push loving energy into the universe.
About the Crown Chakra: The Crown Chakra, also known as the Sahasrara, sits at the very top of the head and is where personal awareness meets something larger than yourself. It governs spiritual connection, higher understanding, and the sense of belonging to a greater whole. When the Crown is closed, you may feel isolated or disconnected from meaning. The violet Stichtite in this bracelet works here, and it is the reason Atlantisite is so tied to ancient wisdom and to energy rising through the whole body rather than staying in one place.
How to Wear It: Atlantisite is traditionally worn on the left wrist (non-dominant hand). In crystal practice, the left wrist is your receiving side, drawing energy inward, while the right wrist (dominant hand) projects energy outward. Because this stone's best-known work is calming chaotic energy and settling the emotions, the left wrist is its natural home. The left side is also closest to the heart, which suits a Heart Chakra stone, and it is a lovely choice for meditation, rest, and any evening when you are trying to let a hectic day come down.
Move it to your right wrist (dominant hand) when you want to carry that steadiness out with you. Atlantisite is said to make you stronger than you have ever been, and the right wrist sends that calm, unshakable quality outward into busy days, crowded rooms, and situations where you want to stay centered rather than swept along.
One practical tip, whichever side you choose. Your non-dominant wrist takes less daily wear, so less flexing, catching, and pulling, which helps the elastic band and knots last much longer. If the wrist your intention calls for happens to be your dominant one, that is perfectly fine, just be a little more mindful with it. Since Atlantisite is such a soft stone, this one benefits from the gentler wrist more than most.
