Simply place the shungite plate on the floor by your feet while in a seated, meditation position. Then form a grid by setting a black tourmaline for protection in the center of the shungite plate, garnet for passion and energy in each of the corners, hematite for extra grounding on the two sides and smoky quartz for the energy of release at the top and bottom.

Please note: Due to the Carbon nature of Shungite, there may be a slight black residue that comes off when you touch it--it easily washes off your skin with water.
