Peach Selenite Bowl (~6")

$49.99
Cleansing Protection Transformation

Hand carved in Morocco from a single piece of natural gypsum, this six inch bowl glows a soft apricot, with pale bands of cream and white running through the walls where the fibrous layers catch light. It is the ideal size for a nightstand, a desk, or a small altar: big enough to hold a handful of tumbled stones, jewelry, or crystal points, small enough that it earns its place anywhere. Like all Selenite, it is self-cleansing, so it clears whatever you set inside it and never needs clearing itself. Where white Selenite works high and cool, the iron oxide that colors this variety pulls its energy down into the Sacral and Solar Plexus, making it the one to reach for when what needs clearing is not mental clutter but a stalled sense of your own momentum.

PRODUCT DETAILS: This listing is for a single (1) Peach Selenite Bowl (~6"). Please note that these are stock photos of a few of the pieces that we have available. These are natural Crystals & Gemstones, so each stone will be unique and have variations in natural characteristics such as Size, Shape, Inclusions, and Color. Because each bowl is carved from a different block of natural gypsum, the depth of color will vary from a pale blush to a rich apricot, and most pieces show pale banding or cream-colored veining where the crystal layers shift. The crystals shown in the photos are not included, and are pictured only to show the bowl in use.

Geology & Composition: Peach Selenite is a fibrous, crystalline variety of the mineral Gypsum, a hydrated calcium sulfate with the formula CaSO₄·2H₂O. It forms in sedimentary evaporite environments, where ancient mineral-rich saltwater bodies slowly evaporated over millennia and left their dissolved calcium sulfate behind. What sets this stone apart from its classic white counterpart is its warm, opaque, glowing hue. As the crystal grew, it captured dense trace amounts of iron oxide, and occasionally fine sand or clay, permanently tinting the internal structure a soft peach or vibrant apricot. That high concentration of earthy minerals is exactly what gives these specific stones their solid, earthy opacity. The dense inclusions prevent light from passing completely through, while the material still keeps Selenite's signature silky shimmer across the surface. That shimmer comes from the way gypsum grows in these deposits, laying down long parallel fibers seam by seam as groundwater moves through fractures in the rock, which is also why you can see soft directional banding running through the walls of every bowl.

Morocco has become the world's primary source for carved gypsum of this kind, drawn from the country's arid evaporite beds and worked in local cutting shops. Because it is a hydrous sulfate, this material is remarkably soft, rating only a 2 on the Mohs scale, soft enough to be marked with a fingernail. That softness is precisely what makes it carvable into a form like this, and also why it asks for a careful hand.

PLEASE NOTE: Selenite is form of gypsum which is a soft & porous mineral. Therefore, it is VERY IMPORTANT to keep your Selenite dry. Selenite will almost always have some form of chips, nicks, flaking, inclusions and other imperfections. Drilled holes, Etchings, or engravings may also not be perfectly centered or straight. As you use your selenite for cleansing, scratches and chips will be unavoidable, but the markings make each piece special and uniquely yours!

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

  • Intentions: Cleansing, Protection, Transformation
  • Chakra: Sacral, Solar Plexus
  • Zodiac: Cancer
  • Elements: Air

Metaphysical Properties of Peach Selenite: Peach Selenite carries all of the Cleansing and Protective power that Selenite is known for, and then aims it somewhere different. Where the white variety clears the mind, this one goes to work on the places where your momentum gets stuck. It is a stone of action and positive transition, and Transformation is the intention everything else here follows from. That difference comes down to where it sits in the body. Peach Selenite resonates with the Sacral and Solar Plexus, the centers that govern creativity, passion, self-worth, and personal power. Rather than absorbing heavy energy the way a grounding stone does, it works as a self-cleansing energetic sweep, moving through the emotional blockages that leave you feeling uninspired or stalled. Carried on the Element of Air, that motion stays light and clarifying rather than heavy, helping to shed self-doubt and clear the path for a renewed sense of creative drive. It is a particularly good companion during a major life pivot, when what you need is to move forward with a full cup rather than the weight of past hesitations.

It also increases self-awareness, offering an honest look at what genuinely needs your attention, and it provides a real sense of strength during new beginnings. Working with it can strengthen your connection to your own intuition while cleansing the aura, and it offers steady protection and inspiration through any period of positive change. In bowl form, all of that becomes practical. Selenite magnifies the energy of anything placed on or near it while cleansing that item at the same time, so this becomes a working charging dish for a small collection. Fill it at the end of the day and let everything reset overnight, keep it by the door for rings and keys so what you carry gets cleared each time you come home, or simply leave it out because a warm apricot bowl catching afternoon light changes the feeling of a room whether or not anything is in it.
