Fire Quartz Elastic Bracelet - 6mm & 8mm Beads
Feel steady and energized at once with our Fire Quartz Elastic Bracelet, a striking stone where clear quartz is shot through with rust-red and silvery hematite. The result is a bead that looks like it is lit from within, with tangled ribbons of deep red running through translucent crystal so that no two are ever alike. Fire Quartz, also known as Hematoid Quartz, is carried for self-worth, balance, and focus, and it is unusual for being both grounding and invigorating rather than one or the other. Working through the Root and Sacral Chakras with the Fire element, it settles the scattered feeling that comes with having too much on your plate while restoring the energy to actually meet it. If you are rebuilding your confidence, pulling yourself back to center, or simply want a beautiful piece that reminds you of your own worth, this bracelet is available in both 6mm and 8mm.

Geology & Composition: Fire Quartz is clear or milky quartz that has grown with hematite trapped inside it, and the two minerals together are what create its unmistakable look. Hematite is an iron oxide, the same mineral responsible for the red of rust and the red of Mars, and when it forms within a growing quartz crystal it leaves behind ribbons, clouds, and feathery inclusions in shades from bright orange-red to deep burgundy to metallic silver-gray. The pattern is a record of the crystal's own history, since the hematite arrived in stages as iron-rich fluids moved through the quartz during its formation. That is why no two beads match, and why a single bead can hold both fiery red streaks and a silvery metallic sheen. Our Fire Quartz comes from Madagascar, the island that produces most of the world's finest hematoid material and is known for pieces where the red inclusions are especially vivid against clear, well-formed quartz. The quartz itself is silicon dioxide with a Mohs hardness of 7, which makes this a durable, everyday-friendly stone that holds a bright polish beautifully. You will also see it sold as Hematoid Quartz, which is the more technical name.

- Elements: Fire
Metaphysical Properties of Fire Quartz: Fire Quartz, also known as Hematoid Quartz, is a grounding combination of Clear Quartz and Hematite, and that pairing is the whole story of how it works. Quartz is the great amplifier, while Hematite is one of the most grounding stones there is, so together they bring a sense of balance to mind, body, and spirit rather than pulling you in one direction. This stone is best known for its work on self-worth. Fire Quartz clarifies a unique understanding of the emotions, and it is carried to build self-esteem by helping you focus on your inner self and genuinely recognize your own positive qualities. That is quiet work, and it is the reason so many people reach for this stone during a season of rebuilding confidence.
Fire Quartz connects the Root and Sacral Chakras, creating a grounding energy that also energizes, which is a rarer combination than it sounds. It can calm worries or fears and offers balance when you are feeling overwhelmed or scattered, all while emphasizing physical and spiritual energy and invigorating you with a sense of positive vibrations. If you need to feel both settled and awake at the same time, this is the stone for it.
About the Sacral Chakra: The Sacral Chakra, also known as Svadhisthana, is located in the lower abdomen. It is associated with passion for life, art, and in relationships. A balanced Sacral Chakra helps you to be incontrol of your own personal power, and keeps you vibrant and invigorated. The Sacral Chakra governs your creativity and positivity. When it is unbalanced, you may feel lethargic and uninspired. When it is balanced, you have positive energy for new beginnings and new opportunities.
About the Root Chakra: The Root Chakra, also known as the Muladhara or Base, is located at the bottom of the spine. It is the foundation of our bodies and souls. Your Root Chakra contains your basic life force. When it is balanced, it helps to ground you and provides stability. An open Root Chakra allows energy to flow through your body, and offers a sense of safety and security. The Root Chakra emanates the energy of the Element of Earth. A balanced Root Chakra helps to ground the other chakras, and allows you to feel comfortable in your body and your surroundings.
How to Wear It: Fire Quartz is a stone you can wear on either wrist, and the choice depends on what you need from it. In crystal practice, the left wrist (non-dominant hand) is your receiving side, drawing energy inward, while the right wrist (dominant hand) projects energy outward.
Wear it on your left wrist (non-dominant hand) for the self-worth side of this stone. Fire Quartz is carried to help you turn your attention inward and recognize your own positive qualities, and the left wrist supports that quieter work of settling, steadying, and letting reassurance in when you are feeling scattered or overwhelmed. Move it to your right wrist (dominant hand) for the fire. This stone is as energizing as it is grounding, and the right wrist carries that momentum outward into the parts of your day that ask you to show up with confidence, whether that is creative work, a workout, or a room you have to walk into believing in yourself.
One practical tip, whichever side you choose. Your non-dominant wrist takes less daily wear, so less flexing, catching, and pulling, which helps the elastic band and knots last much longer. If the wrist your intention calls for happens to be your dominant one, that is perfectly fine, just be a little more mindful with it.
