Geology: Epidote is a complex calcium aluminum iron silicate mineral that is prized for its distinct "pistachio" to forest green color. These premium specimens are sourced from Turkey, a region geologically defined by its location at the crossroads of major tectonic plates. This position has created vast metamorphic belts where "Alpine-type fissures" occur, open cavities formed by the stretching and folding of the Earth’s crust.

The "Fairy Forest" effect is a masterclass in hydrothermal crystallization.
