Here at New Moon Beginnings, every clasp bracelet is made-to-order by hand. It is important to take the right measurement of your wrists so that your bracelet fits well. There are a few ways to do this which we explain below.
How to Measure your Wrist with a Measuring Tape
If you have a cloth measuring tape or another type of flexible tape measure, use it to measure the size of your wrist by wrapping the tape measure around the part of your wrist where you would like to wear the bracelet. Do not pull the measuring tape tight to the point where it is pressing into your skin. Also, do not leave the measuring tape loose to the point where there is a gap between the tape and your skin.
Once you have the measurement, add 1/2 inch to the measurement for the perfect bracelet length IF you are choosing a lobster clasp. Add 1 inch if you are choosing a toggle clasp. This number will be the size of your bracelet that you should select on our product page and ensures that the bracelet has a comfortable fit.
How to Measure your Wrist with a String
If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string to measure your wrist. Wrap the string around the part of your wrist where you would like to wear the bracelet. Do not pull the string tight to the point where it is pressing into your skin. Also, do not leave the string loose to the point where there is a gap between the string and your skin.
Once you have the measurement, add 1/2 inch to the measurement for the perfect bracelet length IF you are choosing a lobster clasp. Add 1 inch if you are choosing a toggle clasp. This number will be the size of your bracelet that you should select on our product page and ensures that the bracelet has a comfortable fit.
