This aromatic shrub thrives in the windswept deserts of the Santa Fe/Taos area. It has skinny, branched leaves and a light brown color.

Desert Sage has a warm herbaceous aroma that is a bit peppery (think Bay leaves or Mint tea). It is used for cleansing and purifying, protection, and inner strength. It is said to bring pleasant thoughts and relieve headaches and anxiety. Also great for clearing and cleansing your crystals. 


Burning instructions:
You can crumble it up and burn it on charcoal discs.

Or light the end and blow out. Walk around and allow the wand to smoulder.
After cleansing it's best to lay it in a fireproof bowl or Abalone Shell to let burn out. The cleansing power of the shells helps to keep the cedar energized for the next go around. Once done, snuff out the fire against an abalone shell, store away in included pouch and save for later use.
